We took a few different back roads before we turned onto the long driveway. It was now dark, and I had originally thought that it was just another dirt road.
We finally came to a stop in front of a beautiful, large cabin-style house, parking next to the SUV we had been following. If we hadn't followed them here I would have sworn it was a hotel, not a pack house.
"This place is beautiful, Izzy."
She let out a breath of air. I'm sure she was trying to compose herself before getting out of the car.
We sat there in silence, oogling the huge log and stone building. I'd never seen anything like it, then again, I never traveled on the roads other than when Izzy and Mia took me shopping. And we never took the back roads.
We waited to get out of the car until we saw Damian, Jay, and Mi
