Collete and I were snugging down with each other on her comfortable pull-out sofa. She surprised me when she said she actually had a movie room. It wasn’t big, but it wasn’t small either. It was a comfy room to relax after a long, exhausting day.
A huge flat TV screen was attached to the wall and, with the dim light surrounding the room, the whole ambiance was acceptably pleasant.
She never failed to make me feel welcome. I did feel very comfortable with her; she was like a sister I never had. Whimsical and lighthearted. As soon as we arrived home, she ordered me to take a quick shower before we had the evening meal, saying that I smelt intimidating.
I was left wondering. Having said that, I complied.
We were now watching an interesting horror movie she chose from her shelves of movies
