Ynna didn't know what to do anymore. She just looked at her dad and Rex's mom, back and forth.
"What are you doing here?"Rex's mom asked her again, so her eyes stopped at his mom.
"Ma'am, if you'll give me time, I'll explain everything."
"What will you explain to her?"
She kept looking at Rex's mom even though her dad walked towards her.
"The truth of this, ma'am-"
Her dad held her hand.
"You don't have to explain anything to her. Let's go home." Her dad cut her off, so she side-glanced at her dad.
"Dad ..." she called her dad as she gathered her courage.
In the next second, her mind became preoccupied with what word she should use so that her dad and Rex’s mom wouldn’t be too surprised. She first thought she would say she and Rex had a relationship, and next she would apologize.
