Rex was baffled by what Ynna stated, so he simply gazed at her, speechless.
"Rex," she whispered to him. However, he forced himself to think correctly.
He laid down next to her and said, "All right, I'll sleep next to you. Good night."
But he was surprised when she tilted her body and looked at him. And his eyes widened as her hand sneaked up to his neck.

He was dumbfounded by what she said.
"I know you're scared of my mom and your dad, but I'm only here, and we won't be separated."
