"I'll think about it," she said, pretending to be cool about it. "Anyway, a romance novel can be revenge and tragic."
She noticed how shocked he was.
"What?" she asked, unfazed.
"Nothing," he said quickly. He then walked towards the door.
"I'm going back to my office. Just let me know when you're going to kill me—" she looked at him amusingly.
He quickly steadied himself in front of her and even said, "I mean, if you need my help, just call me."
She responded, though, "All right, I'll call you if I'm going to kill you,"
