“No.” He said coldly.
He didn’t want the conversation to carry on, and kissing her to shut her up would only make her more confused about his intentions.
How could he give her a concrete answer when he was confused?
Songnara looked down and nodded.
“I see. Thanks for clearing it up.”
As if on cue, they both heard a horse neigh.
It was time to go to the fair.
Neither of them was in the mood, but Songnara wanted to support Gray, and Lexus didn’t want to leave them alone together even though he had just pushed her away.
He raised his elbow and nodded at her for formality, but she just walked past him and exited the room. He sighed and followed suit.
