XVIII - Gray's Kiss

1237 Words

THIRD PERSON “Oh, shut up!” Songnara scoffed. “You’ve been rude and detrimental ever since we arrived here, and it’s a festival for goodness sake, lighten up! Besides, it’s not like you have any right to be jealous whatsoever.”  “Jealous?” Gray seemed to be caught in the middle of it all.  “Look, Lexus, I gave you a chance to tell me the truth back at the hut, back at the poppy fields-- yes, Gray we were, in fact, kissing back there, but you said ‘No’. And now you’re here all gloomy because Gray has his hands all over me, well you don’t own me so stop.” Songnara gritted her teeth to keep herself from saying any more.  From the moment she met Lexus, she was always enamoured by his mysteriousness, but now she understood that with mystery came confusion.  And she didn’t want confusion.
