1050 Words

WHEN LUCAS SLID inside the condo, he found Stacey bended back over the stove in the kitchen. Nagluluto ito ng hapunan.      “Oh, you came-“ napatakbo ito at napayakap sa kaniya. “You arrived earlier than expected, “hindi ba’t bukas ka pa?”      He just gave a wry smile that hid his worries, all he felt now is relief that he was beside her. “I guess there is nothing else to stay for, and I missed you.”      “Awww,” she cuddled on him in an embrace. “Timing at maluluto na itong expirement kong pasta.”      “It would be lovely,” he uttered, “let me rest and change, and I’ll join you.”      “Sure,” she quipped.      Nang bumalik siya ay hindi siya mapakali, he didn’t like this small tiny voice in his head, making him feel guilty. Nasa hapag na ang pagkain ng mag-open up siya dito.
