My mind was a whirl of thoughts as I constantly checked the time, counting till two A.M. it’s already one A.M and Charlotte is with Moris, the guard at the king’s palace. I feel so bad having to make her do this but she wants to. I can’t even begin to imagine how she feels right now especially because she has just found her mate and he knows Moris likes her. Well, it’s not like they were doing anything bad, I tell myself. Charlotte is a decent girl and she would most likely be engaging in a flirtatious conversation with him. She wouldn’t be so foolish to do anything physical with him when her own mate is in the same building and he knows about Moris. If he feels the pain he’s going to come for them right away.
Anna was already sleeping. I would miss her a lot when we leave here
