The horse contented itself with drinking, and I stripped. When I got down to my undies, I felt a bit self-conscious and opted to leave my undies on. Well, they needed washing too, I figured. Dipping my toes in, the cold water both chilled and invigorated me. I sat on a rock and slid slowly into the water, using rocks below the surface to steady my immersion, as it was deep. It was a cold bath, but once I was all wet, I swam a few laps and warmed up. After, I returned to a rock to climb out.
