Her bladders were ready to burst, the moment said husband left Mayur ran for the washroom. She finished her business and walked out off the restaurant, though she didn't call for uber or taxi........She started walking in the vague direction for, she saw someone very familiar was looking at her through glass barrier earlier while talking to Zeke when he didn't notice that because it was behind him.

She was walking straight then turned left from there, it was the way to the backside of the same restaurant where emergency exit was and stopped dead before looking around and pulling out her phone to call the man who saved her years ago from one terrible fate.....

Her most trusted confidante.....her brother, not blood related but brother all the same

He came out of hiding after 5 minutes with a tiny smile plastered on his face as she run right into his arm.

They hardly meet now that she left the agency only after 2 years of working and then he's out on damn missions every now and then

"You got married!" He said not asked.....hardly a question and another unasked question was --- that too 3 years ago, still she knew how to read between the lines.

she let out a sigh....."in this very date!" She answered bobbing her head, meeting his sharp brown eyes, taking his large form in she said again.."you need a hair cut and a nice shave, anyone can mistake you for an ape" looking at his bushy thick beard and touching his shoulder length mane affectionately

"And you didn't even feel like informing us at all, i had to find out in other way" and again he ignored her remark and just stated.

in a very calm voice...ok, he was upset!

After a while another shadow came one came out in lighr.....mischief dancing, clever eyes, crooked smile, light brown hair, but handsome none the less

"Cole" She let out a teary laugh and hugged him too. She missed his blond haired and sparkly blue eyed face the most.

"don't you look gorgeous, girly" He complimented looking down at her intently

"I've missed both of you and i did try to inform you i but you weren't here.

then i contacted Lionel Adams said....."he's out and We've no idea where and even if we do this is not something I'd discuss with a CIVILIAN" I mean are you serious he didn't even gave me a clue" She clarified her self as he was looking at her

"you know sometimes i feel like he really hates me, I don't know why"

Yohan just shook his head.....

Cole chuckled...."no agency likes loosing asset after investing precious resource on them" He added

Mayur frowned....."they hardly invested anything on us, need i remind you!"

"time and trust.....arsenals"

"And they also got something out of it, it was choice given to me and i took it,......beside from the very first moment i joined, he behaved with hostility"

"nonsense! he's very professional and it's true, he is not allowed to disclose anything to a civilian" Cole said rolling his eyes

"C'mon Brothers, he knows me just fine it's just always something weird going with him. As if he's always......."

Yohan cut her off saying ; "Mayur, you left, you are right you chose to leave because you wanted to live a normal life, Normal life doesn't gives you access inside or to it's agents. Specially when they're not present"

"Ok..ok! I surrender! I'm sorry i shouldn't be bad mouthing about your dear friend,

What's going on these days with the 2 of you or am i not privy to that too ?" She asked

Both exchanged a tensed look.....

"you look like a woman by the way, i never noticed before" Cole said with smirk

"how are you Mayur, How is the marriage faring, Is he good to you ?" Yohan asked with a slight warning in his voice that said...."he better be, or else __

She forgot how well both could read her without even trying, why not after all they spent years together, they aren't her brothers and even biggest confidante for nothing, she let out another sigh......

"frankly it happened all of a sudden and it wasn't some big bang wedding, just us and i really missed both of you that day" She said letting out a halfhearted smile

"Please don't ask anything about him, because i don't know anything, i only meet him once a year and finally i asked him for a divorce....and that's all" She inwardly prayed

"how come you are meeting me here, i mean, you could have come home" She asked and both boys shared another look

"okay...what's going on"

"the another way was that we found out that his life is in danger, we decided to do a deep swipe, had to say he maintain a iron clad privacy so we were surprised to find out that you are his wife" Yohan answered

"W-what, for what possible reason" She asked

"He may have found out about YOU....all of us" Cole muttered looking at her behind and his as well to see if anyone following them or anything abnormal.

very unladylike curse left her mouth

"yep, f**k indeed" Yohan said rubbing his face

"what the f**k did we do in our previous life time to deserve this shit.......can't our past just leave us alone! Can't he leave me alone ?" She asked, frustration pouring in her words, she swallowed hard

"we have to keep our guard up, we went through hell and back yet here we are alive. If need raises we'll tackle him again, Ok ?" Cole embraced her, tried to console her

but it did next to nothing, if anything, it only served to make her agitated.

She left for home and without even doing anything for a whole freaking day she was tired.

really really tired!

After finishing her dinner which she barely touched she went upstairs and pulled out her phone and called Yohan

"hey"

"hello, dada i need you to find a good place, i want to taste my skills, every single one! So make sure to bring every single trial weapons......

And contact Marianna Shaw, tell her I'm ready to return and tell no one about this.....not a single soul outside should find out, only her, she'd know what to do, it's imperative" She said after thinking for a while

"fine, there's a thing i wanted to ask Mayu! Why is it that your name never came out until we did a deep swipe on his background check, you are his wife, why is that a secret ?"

"please don't ask anything right now.....just trust me okay" She knew this question was coming, so requested

"no it doesn't work that way! we have inform your husband that his life is in danger, we can't NOT tell him, we have to reinforce his security and only way is to start taking precautions and for you to be with him 24/7 personally...... no other option" He stated

"no possible,We don't live together!" She said in one breath

"What!?.....say that again!" He asked

"we......we do not live together. As you can see I'm still living in my father's house" She mumbled feeling sudden heaviness in her chest remembering that she just asked for divorce today.

"What! how come...!" He asked getting confused

"Can't explain" She said and cut the call because she herself didn't know the reasons......he just proposed it right after signing the marriage papers and she accepted.

no question asked

and to her surprise...... She was relieved

a scoff left her mouth, sometimes she wonders if life would ever seize to surprise them!
