Third person’s POV
“Did you guys notice that or was it just me?” Adonis blurted immediately he was sure Harper’s footsteps had faded down to the third floor, and she wouldn’t be able to hear their conversations.
Atlas’s eyebrows quirked, not expecting any one of them to have said that because he thought he was the only person that noticed.
Harper smelled unusual today. She smelt like roses and honey, which was the alluring scent he had ever taken into his system. He immediately knew she was his mate.
The three of them turned eighteen six months back. They had expected to get their mates since then because usually, they would get the scent immediately after turning eighteen but they didn’t.
Damon and Adonis didn’t care that much, but Atlas did. He was the future Alpha, so he had to get a mate or else the throne wouldn’t be handed over to him. He was desperate to get one.
When she came into the room, he almost didn’t believe it was true. He tried to deny it, but was sure when his brother insulted her mother and he saw the hurt in her eyes, then had the strong urge to stand up and knock his brother’s teeth off.
“What did you notice, Adonis? Her t**s are getting bigger?” Damon scoffed, picking up the book that was laying on the bed.
Atlas gritted his teeth. He had a strong urge to act on impulse and hurt him, but he held back. He didn’t even know if Harper would want to be his mate yet, even though she didn’t have a choice.
No one rejects the sons of the Alpha. They were the prize, and she was just a nobody Omega.
“She is our mate. Harper is our mate!” Adonis exclaimed.
“Yes, she is.” Atlas supported.
He didn’t expect to be mated to the same person as his brothers, but there was nothing he could do about it. It was what was fated for them, and he couldn’t change it.
“You smelt it too, right? I can’t believe we are going to get mated to the same person.” Adonis sighed, knowing it couldn’t be that bad.
They have always shared everything their entire lives. The only problem was Damon. He was the devil amongst them and would never agree to be mated to Harper.
He had always dreamt of getting mated to someone like a warrior’s daughter, or someone of the higher rank. He would rather stay single his entire life than have an Omega as his mate.
“No, I didn’t smell it,” Damon shrugged. “She is a f*****g used rug. Why would I want to be mated to an outcome of a dirty club one-night stand?”
Adonis and Atlas growled in response to their brother insulting their mate. When he noticed, he waved his hands in apology.
“Goodness, don’t tell me you’re already starting to get protective of her.” Damon let out a chortle.
“Dumbass, we are getting mated to that girl. All of us. The bitterness in your heart is probably what is stopping you from feeling it.” Adonis hissed.
“Didn’t you hear what she said, she is not ready to be mated.” He retorted in his defense.
“She will. Nobody could resist this.” Atlas smirked, flexing his thick muscles.
His brothers rolled their eyes simultaneously. He never failed to show off his gorgeous body, which had the women in his pack groveling at his feet.
But he didn’t like any of them, neither did he attempt to sleep with them even though they practically threw themselves at him.
He wanted to wait to have his virginity taken by his fated mate, unlike his brothers that have probably f****d half of the town. He believed s*x was a sacred thing and should be done with the sacred mate bond.
“She probably would prefer to get mated to a donkey than you.” Damon scoffed, trying to humble his brother, but that was an impossible mission.
“Wait and see,” Atlas smirked.
He was very confident about it. He had never found Harper ogling at him, or she was just good at hiding it.
Despite that, he knew that no woman could resist him. He was the most attractive man in the pack, and also the crown prince.
Damon scoffed, shaking his head. He wondered what was going on in their heads that they agreed to accept her as their mate. She was the Omega they had treated like trash their entire lives.
They turned her into their punching bags and made her do inhumane dirty work, and she took it all. After all of that, they still expected her to get mated to them.
She wasn’t daft. Even though she was an Omega, she still knew getting mated to them would be the biggest mistake she would make in her life.
She hated them just as much as they hated her, or maybe even more. They were all delusional, and he was ready to bring them back to reality even if it took the entire night.
“Listen, the both of you. I want you to listen to me. This girl is not our slave anymore immediately she realizes the power she has over us,” he started, but his brothers scoffed and looked away.
“We have tormented her our entire life. For the love of God, we all starved this girl for days and hit her whenever we had the chance to. You think she would just wake up tomorrow and decide to mate with us?”
Atlas shrugged, “She doesn’t have a choice.”
“Yes, she does. She is eighteen so she can leave the damn pack to another one. I am telling you all, mark my words. She is going to reject us and we would stand in front of the whole pack looking like fools.” He warned them.
Atlas and Adonis gasped when they realized that there was a possibility that Harper would reject them. After all they did to her, she probably wanted to get revenge.
That was the perfect place for it. She could reduce them to a bunch of laughingstocks just like they had reduced her to it her entire life.
“f**k!” Adonis cursed, running his fingers through his hair as he thought of the scenario.
An Omega that was treated like a turd by everyone in the pack rejecting the three men everyone desired. They would lose their status as the most popular boys and school, and would probably have it hung over their heads till their very last breaths.
“But there is still a chance,” Atlas tried to defend, but his brothers shot him a dirty look.
“You are not going to be down bad for this girl. You are an Alpha, so you will get a second chance mate. We will drive her out of the pack after the rejection.” Damon finalized.
Atlas thought about it for a while, weighing the pros and cons. He didn’t have all day and his brothers had their blazing gaze on him, so he decided to just go ahead with what Damon proposed.
He took a breath in before he nodded, “Okay, fine. Deal.”
“Good,” Damon smirked. He knew he would rather die than get humiliated by an Omega.
He hated the rank, because all they ever did was to cause havoc in the pack and weigh it down with responsibilities. If he was going to be the next Alpha, then he would be sure to wipe them out by selling them out to other packs.
At least that way, he would get something out of them instead of letting the pack feed them when they had nothing to offer back to the pack.
They didn’t produce warriors or other jobs that benefited the pack. They were just a bunch of weaklings that would end up becoming the pack maids or guards.
If Damon got the chance, the first person he would sell was Harper. He hated her ever since he laid his eyes on her.
He was glad he had convinced his brothers to reject and kick her out of the pack and in a few days, she would be gone forever. She would be out of his hair once and for all.
