Chapter Four

1142 Words
Alpha Arkon; This old bastard trying to resist me from leaving his pack with my mate is provoking my blood to boil. A rage course through my veins, leaving me with a feeling of ripping off his chest. My left fist clenches, my muscles tense, ready to unleash the anger building inside me. I roar, clutching his neck, and his warriors suddenly shift into their wolf forms, charging for battle, snarling. My warriors also shift, facing his warriors and ready to attack just what I want. I came here to destroy this old prick after I got the information that it was my fated mate, he had decided to make his third Luna. I want to cut off his old dangling c**k and shove it in his miserable mouth for him to feed off it. Clutching harder into his neck, he bares forth his claws slashing my abdomen, and pushing me off him. He roars, shifting into his wolf, and I adjust my neck side by side to shift when my mate rushes forward, placing her hands on my chest, her eyes filling with tears and hatred. “You have to stop it, Alpha. Today is my happy day and an enemy like you shouldn't ruin it,” she softly speaks, the tears in her eyes begin to flow down her cheeks and I find my heart ripping in pain. I can’t stand to see her cry because whatever she feels, I feel the same. We share the same bond, and our destiny is locked together. “Why do you call me an enemy,” I try to hold her hand on my chest but she snatches it from me. Without looking at my face, “I will love it if you take your men with you and leave. Please Alpha, it’s a request,” she walks away from me. I suddenly feel a huge storm in my heart, consuming every part of me, and a weakness that I’ve never felt in my life engrossing my body. I push my feet to move behind her, making an attempt to stop her from leaving when she suddenly collapses to the floor. “Mate!” My Wolf roars, and one more attempt to approach her, I see a razor-sharp edge sword placed against her neck. “One more step from you, I will end her life. And trust me, you won’t be able to forgive yourself for being the reason for her death,” the old Alpha’s cheeks run through his ears, revealing a cruel smile on his face. “Please, Alpha Arkon, don’t take another step further for the sake of my daughter's life,” Mr. Gravus bows his head at my side. I stand frozen, my head pondering about what to do. I know this old man will kill her if I make any move. The best I can do right now is let him have her but not for long because I promise I will return, and this time, I'm not leaving without her. My right fist rises in the air, ordering my warriors to retreat, and they immediately obey. Just when I turn to step away, I feel a hand grip my wrist, “You can’t fall for my sister, Alpha. You can’t do this to me,” a soft voice cries out. I bend my head in the direction of the lady holding my wrist, it’s the younger daughter of Mr. Gravus. She has tears gushing down her cheeks as she stares at me. I slightly raise my brow, and a whiff of annoyance flees my lips. Holding her hand and freeing my wrist from it, “I will never choose you as my Luna, so make sure not to waste your emotion on me,” and with that, I storm away, my warriors follow behind me. ******** “Alpha, don’t you think you have to let her go,” my Beta, Kael, grabs a seat, taking his position in front of my office desk. “I will not let another man have her. Not in this life or the next,” I rest my head on the headrest of my seat. He inhales a deep breath, and softly clears his throat, “She is already married to the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack, and because of your attempt of wanting to have her back, he has ordered the boundaries between our pack and his, to be blocked by his men. You have to give up on her.” His words make a chuckle escape my lips, my hands clutching the armrest of my seat in anger. “I don’t care if he uses tons of men as a barrier on my way to his pack, I will rip off their heads and bring her back to my pack. She must be my Luna,” I rise to my feet in anger, storming out of my position to the window, my hands crossed behind me. Kael also stands up and moves toward me. I understand he’s looking out for me as my best friend, but I believe he knows when my mind is made up, I don’t go back on my words. He rests his palm on my shoulder, “If you succeed in bringing her here, what will happen to Freya, who is already carrying your pup in her womb? You know how aggressive she can be. She is ready to kill any female who comes into your life,” he reminds me of my mistake that I'm yet to fix. “Freya is the least of my worries. She chooses to get pregnant even when she is fully aware of my actual feelings toward her. I don’t want her, and she can never be my Luna.” “Then what about your pup in her womb? What if it turns out to be a boy? One who will take over your legacy,” Kael softly whiffs, “If you succeed in bringing your mate to our pack, you will only end up hurting her feelings because she can’t deal with the rascality of our pack members. Think about it.” The door to my office suddenly opens, and my head warrior, Cormac, walks in. Bowing his head in respect, “Everything you requested is ready, and our warriors are also prepared. It’s time to leave, Alpha,” he informs. I sent my gaze at Kael, with a soft chuckle I utter, “Don’t worry much about my pup. When he arrives safely, I know what to do. For now, I need to go bring my mate back to my pack, and have her take her rightful place as my Luna. Take care of the pack while I'm gone,” I pat his back and take my leave to focus on my mission, Cormac follows after me.
