The hallway was long, so she could only barely make out the shape of Alice's door at the end. Rena ran after Tara but heard someone stomping up their stairs in pursuit. She looked over her shoulder and saw Leo and his groomsmen tight on their tail. Halfway down the hallway, Rena stopped, turned around, and spread her arms out wide to halt the men. Leo stood and stared at Rena and wondered what she was going to do next. Tara reached Alice's room and opened the door, and Rena smiled when she heard it shut.
