Chapter Nineteen
A nerve throbbed in Razor’s jaw as he knelt next to the fresh tracks outside the fence. The indention in the snow where Kali landed was clear in the light from Cutter’s torch. He stood and looked over at the other side of the fence where a long metal pipe used for running conduit lay in the snow.
“She is very resourceful. You have to give her credit for that,” Cutter said, looking at the same thing before his eyes moved to the top of the shed. “It has to be a good ten feet past the roof of the shed. She is lucky she cleared it.”
“She’ll be lucky if I don’t strangle her when I catch her,” Razor growled. “Let’s go.”
