As we walked from the university and headed towards the main part of the city, my mood improved. Being around Cassie always seemed to have that effect. She was always so happy and positive. It seemed to rub off on me. It was just what I needed. Since leaving the cabin, my life seemed to have got more complicated. Cassie, however, was always reliable. It gave me some simplicity in my life. “What exactly do you want to change about yourself, then?
