“Get your paws away from Garret. He is my lapdog.” Henry said as he took another puff at his cigarette. His manner making it obvious he was joking.
“Haha! Don’t be like that, your man makes me want to go to church. I wouldn’t dream of sleeping with him. Though… I did ask him once.” Julia remarked as she brushed away a single tear from laughing so hard.
“It’s someone else?” Henry asked with great interest. It was as if two friends were gossiping about their crushes. Though the reality was much crueler than that… A s*x worker taking interest in someone was nothing but bad news. Both of them knew that far too well.
