I didn’t know what to think at Kane’s words. That he had something to tell me. Did it have to do with how I was feeling? The overwhelming feeling of love, of desire, of belonging that threatened to pull me under. I’d never felt something like this before, and it was too much. I sucked in a deep breath, trying to quell down the panic that was threatening to send me into darkness.
“Yeah, Sarah.” He paused, he closed his eyes. His thumbs moving over the tops of my cheeks as his p***s grew soft inside of me. “I’m not human.”
“What?”
“I’m a dragon.”
Shoving at his chest, I pushed him back. I missed the feel of his arms around me. The connection seemed to dim, but it was still there.
