Sierra's POV
"Stay put Sierra. Understand?" Asher asks and I nod my head while hiding behind the table he flipped over. "Words!" He yells. "I need a response!" He turns around to glare at me and I blush, realizing he couldn't see me. "Okay!" I respond then hug my knees to my chest after I drop to the floor.
"It'll be okay as long as you stay hidden. Understand?" Ross questions and I sigh. "Yeah. But can someone tell me what the actual hell is going on?" I ask and raise my eyebrow.
Suddenly Asher is in front of me, pinning me to the wall. "Do you want to live?" He asks angrily, a deadly tone lacing his voice. I nod my head, my throat too dry to allow me to speak. "Then shut the f**k up and listen to what you are told to do," he growls and I narrow my eyes at him.
"Listen here. I didn't ask for this s**t. Don't you f*****g speak to me in that tone ever again or I'll cut your balls off and shove them down your throat. I'm not your f*****g property. I'm a human being with emotions jackass. Be civil for once!" I snap, shoving him backwards as hard as I can.
"Asher!" Ross screams, pushing him out of the windows view. Not even a second later, the glass shatters, bullets flying into the apartment. "Grab the girl!" Someone yells and I look around frantically.
I don't get to see who said what they did, because I'm gabbed from behind. They place a rag over my mouth and nose, knocking me out cold.
"This shouldn't have happened!" A new voice yells, anger lacing their tone. "Well then you should have kept your b***h on a tighter leash!" Someone spits back and I attempt to open my eyes, but they are too heavy.
"Just wake the b***h up!" A familiar voice growls. "Au-Austin?" I question weakly, opening my eyes slowly despite the feeling of wanting to keep them closed. My head hurts so bad along with other parts of my body.
"Hey baby," he says sweetly.
"You really shouldn't have ran from me. You caused a lot of s**t to go down. Just look at yourself, who do you think you are?" He asks and I look at him in confusion.
"You're worthless, but you're mine. Understand that?" He asks nastily, forcing me to look at him.
"Do. You. Understand?" He asks slowly, squeezing my cheeks harder with each word he speaks. "Yes," I whisper softly, keeping my voice strong. I will never show him any weakness again for as long as I live.
"Good. Now follow me to get cleaned up. I want you in my bed in thirty minutes, waiting for me. Don't worry, only sleep tonight princess," he says with a smirk and I nearly gag in disgust.
What kind of actual prick is he?
"Okay," I say as sweetly as I can, following him to his bedroom. I give him a small tight lipped smile and walk into the bathroom, locking the door behind me. Sliding down, I hug my knees and cry silently.
"Help me," I silently pray, hoping Asher and Ross will hear my silent pleas. I stand up and flinch at my reflection, my hair is all over the place and my makeup is smudged. I even have bruises on my fair skin from the multiple times he hit me today.
"Can life get any worse?" I whisper, stripping down and stepping into the tub. I turn the water on hot and let it fill up before sinking down into the steamy heat. "Be out in five!" Austin yells and I groan in annoyance.
I scrub the filth off of my body the best I can and sink beneath the water, screaming at the top of my lungs, not caring that the water is invading my mouth.
I come back up and squirt some shampoo in my hand, lathering it into my knotted hair. After I rinse it out, I hear a loud crash and Austin's voice.
"What the—" I hear him question before gunfire erupts throughout the house. I stand up quickly and hop out of the tub, reaching for a towel. Just as the towel is wrapped around my body, the bathroom door is kicked open.
"Sierra," he whispers and a shiver runs down my body. "Asher," I say breathlessly, looking at him in shock. My body relaxes instantly, but my heartbeat picks up, beating wildly in my chest.
