Kayla's POV:
The sky is dark and the lightning strikes causing a loud crack to echo through the town. The rain is coming down hard and in large droplets, soaking my hair and clothes as I walk through the streets of town. I have no idea where I am and I don't know how to get back to Jaxson. I don't know how I got here either or where I was walking from. I look around at the streets that were so lively at one time only to see abandoned cars and dead bodies of both Ryker's and Jonah's men. I look over to the side of the street and take off running and kneel down next to a small little boy who is laying lifeless on the sidewalk with bullet wounds in his chest.
