The Alpha's Daughter Wants Revenge

Chapter 3

    Today was the town party which means I was actually gonna attend but only to find out information about my pack and what happened to them. The first thing I needed to do right now would be go find a store and buy a new dress or something. 

    It took a good twenty minutes just to find the stupid store just to realize I must've left my wallet at the camp site last night. As I turned around out of the store I was stopped by someone. The Mayor. 

    "How was your first day here in ShalderTown?" Mayor Drew asked. 

    I knew I had to respond but I had to be careful around him.

    "It was great," I said," Oh when is that party. I decided I might as well go and meet some new people." 

    "That's great news," Mayor Drew said," It starts at 7:30 pm and ends around 10 ish." 

    "Then I guess I'll see you there," I said then walked away. 

    I went straight to the camp site that I was at yesterday. When I got to the camp I saw something, a wolf. Just like yesterday but this time it was more noticeable. I started walking up to the wolf when I noticed that it wasn't real, it was a spirit of a wolf. 

    Then I remembered what my aunt told me before she died, "No matter what happens to your people, their will always be the guardian angels of the ones who loved you the most watching over you." That's why the wolf is here. 

    Me being a witch and a werewolf gives me the ability to see events of certain places. And I was just now remembering that. I channeled all my powers and focused then I started seeing the memories of when my pack was killed. 

    The first thing I saw was the little version of me. It must've been seconds before the attack because all of a sudden my father, the Alpha was yelling for someone to get me out of their. That's why I was one of the only ones to survive. I looked over where the campfire was supposed to be and saw ash from something. Almost all of my people were coughing which was affecting their fighting. I was already gone by now but nobody else could leave. Then I looked over and saw him. The Mayor. He was standing over my mother with a knife that looked like it was covered in something then he stabbed her. She instantly stopped moving. By now I had tears running now by face this was to much to handle. 

    Then the Mayor walked up to my father and for the first time I saw that my father was actually scared. I saw my father look over at me like he could see me and said something," Don't worry. We'll always be with you." That was the last thing I saw then everything started disappearing. I was pulled out of the memory with tears flowing down my eyes. I knew something was off about this town but I wasn't expecting this. 

    I wouldn't be able to let this go but I couldn't do anything about it until I know what the knife was that killed my mother. Seconds later I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard someone in the woods. Great timing. My magic was out of control from me crying and my wolf form was begging to come out but I couldn't let it take over just yet. My eyes weren't in focus of the area surrounding me either. The person that was in the woods got closer to me. I finally started getting my emotions and magic under control by time I realized who was in the woods. Kai Drew. 

    "What the hell happened here?" Kai asked.

    That's when I noticed that this part of the woods was covered in ash. 

    "What do you want?" I asked," Why are you even out here?"

    "I could ask you the same thing," Kai said," But I won't. Wait are you okay? It looks like you've been crying." 

    "Screw you," I said angered. 

    "What did I do?" Kai said. 

    "You and your stupid family are the reason why mine are dead," I said. 

    Before I knew what was happening Kai was lying down by  a tree with blood running down his forehead.
