A few hours ago, Jack Petrov, one of the most important partners in his company, called to say that Adrian had gotten his daughter, Kenna, pregnant, and now he demanded that Adrian marry his daughter. While Jon was talking to Jack, Adrian entered his father's office saying he had a problem. Jon looked at his son with a deadly stare, and Adrian instantly knew that his father was aware of everything. - You will! - says Jon, pointing at his son. - What's going on? - asks Bryan, entering the office. Jon explains everything Adrian has done, and Bryan listens attentively. - I leave for just two months and you get a girl pregnant, and her father wants to destroy the company. - says Bryan, glaring at his brother in anger. - I'm sorry. - says Adrian. - Sorry? - says Bryan. - Now our dad and I will have to clean up your mess, you i***t. - He will have to resolve the problem he caused himself. - says Jon. - How? - asks Bryan. - By marrying Jack's daughter. - Jon replies. - I've already said I’m not getting married. - Adrian insists. - You are! Bryan laughs as he grabs a glass from his father's desk and pours a shot of bourbon. - I have to go. - says Adrian. - Where are you going? - asks Jon, as Bryan is sitting in his father’s chair with his feet on the desk, observing everything and enjoying his drink. - You don’t want me to get married? - Adrian says, and Jon nods. - Then I’ll get married, but I need some time. - Two weeks, at most. - Jon states. - Is that all? - asks Adrian. - At least you still have some days. I got married in a hospital, while in a coma. - Bryan adds, raising his glass to drink it all in one go. - Will you never get over that? - Adrian asks. - As long as I’m alive? No. - Bryan replies. - Fine. You have two weeks, Adrian. - says Jon. - I will talk to Jack to start the wedding preparations. Adrian says nothing, he simply sighs, waves, and leaves his father's office. In the living room, he finds his mother and Petra chatting, both smiling as Petra talks animatedly. Adrian always thought Petra was beautiful, but she was never his type; he only got close to her to tease his brother. Adrian leaves his parents' house and heads to his apartment, where he finds Suzane, his casual hookup. - Hi, cutie. - she says, and Adrian quickly grabs her mouth in a kiss, catching her by surprise. - I want to f**k you. - Adrian says. - Come here. I won’t need you anymore. - What? - Suzane asks, getting up and walking towards Adrian naked. - I'm getting married. - Adrian says, stepping back when the woman tries to touch him. - No! - Suzane yells. - You can leave. - Adrian says, picking up his phone and texting his friend, James. He wanted to go out and drink a little. - No! - Suzane shouts, stomping her foot on the ground as she crosses her arms. - I don't have time for your outbursts. It's over, Suzane. - Adrian says. - You can leave, or I’ll throw you out myself, and you won’t like walking out naked through the hotel. The woman looks at him, furious, but quickly starts putting on her clothes and leaves. Adrian takes a shower and lounges around until nightfall when he meets his friend James to drink. Upon arriving at the club, Adrian quickly spots his friend at the bar, drinking while talking to a redhead; the woman declines and walks away, ignoring James. - You got rejected. - Adrian laughs at his friend. - I love difficult women, believe me, buddy - James says. - Tomorrow that redhead will wake up in my bed. - What confidence. - Adrian says, and he orders a drink; when the bartender hands it to him, he quickly gulps down the entire alcoholic content in one go. - Did something happen? - James asks, now worried as he stares at his friend. - A lot of things happened. - Adrian says. - I broke it off with Suzane. - You ended everything with that babe? Is there someone else in the picture? - James asks, bringing his drink to his lips. - I'm getting married. - Adrian says, and James chokes on his drink, coughing heavily as onlookers watch Adrian patting James on the back, trying to help him. - Married? Adrian... you getting married? - James asks, astonished. - I think I'm dreaming, a very crazy dream. - You know Kenna, Jack Petrov's daughter? - Adrian asks, and James nods. - You're marrying that goddess? - James asks. - Now I get why you dumped Suzane, but marrying, Adrian... are you crazy? - I got the girl pregnant, her father is pulling his shares from the company if I don't marry her. - Adrian explains. - And since Jack Petrov is crucial for our company’s investments, my dad said I have to marry her, even if he has to tie me to the altar.
