Chapter 23
New Rules
I got out of the shower, put on my pajamas and sat on the bed. I was nervous to talk with Greyson. Berny had told me to be strong and not relent on anything. But I was worried that Greyson would bring up the marriage contract and we knew that gave me no rights but also didn’t force me to do anything except have children with him.
My husband was a handsome man and that didn’t help when I needed to talk to him about serious topics. Not that Greyson ever let me get that far. We never have meaningful successful conversations and I needed to change that today.
I took a few deep breathes and tried to relax myself. This was going to be a long conversation and I had to be prepared. I would get all I wanted out of this and Greyson what have to relent.
