Back to London
We were back in London. Greyson had told me the night before, “Paris was a bad idea” and I had laughed it off. But he wasn’t wrong. Paris had started as a beautiful dream and turned into a nightmare. Greyson had pulled me away from the gala and into the car and back to the hotel in lightening speed. Then the next morning we were on a plane back to London, to the estate along with Gracie and Lukas.
I had stepped into the kitchen and saw Mrs. Burton making lunch with Jane. I had decided I wouldn’t intentionally argue with her. I just wanted things to go smoother this time around. Especially since Grey would be staying here awhile with me, while I finalized my collaboration with Berny and then I would travel to where he wanted.
