Chapter 8Seamus had heard people say that people who lived several hundred years ago were shorter than people who lived today, but he had never really believed it until he was escorted by an angry mob into the town jail. Although no one on this trip had seemed particularly short so far, the ceilings in the town jail were definitely not designed for tall people. He had to admit though, the whole thing was rather spacious. In one rather large cell, he, Patience, Thomas, Penelope, Temperance, Eastman, and Rebecca were all being held, and oddly, it didn’t seem crowded.
