I forced a spoonful of food into my mouth while Cora kept hitting her plate with the cutlery, but I chose to ignore it. After our conversation yesterday, I decided to sleep in the guest room and pondered my thoughts. All these years, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't love Cora or learn to live with her. Due to my inability to love her, I did something drastic which I knew she suspected, but she didn't have concrete evidence yet.
When I realized that I couldn't grow to love her as a mate and wife, no matter how hard I tried, I decided to visit my witch. I asked her to make a concoction that would prevent me from impregnating Cora. I could impregnate other women, but not Cora. She would never bear my child because I knew that if she did, we would be bonded for life,
