I stepped in between Reynold and Alpha Ren, and their glaring contest ended as their eyes snapped to me. "Can we please calm down and not create a scene?" I added. They both stepped back. I looked around to see if anyone had noticed the scuffle, and fortunately, no one had witnessed the drama.
"Alpha Ren, I will be back in the ballroom in five minutes," I said, placing my hand on his shoulder. Alpha Ren's fury dissipated, and he looked at me warmly. Before creating this jealous drama, I drew my hand back, and Alpha Ren followed my lead, entering the ballroom. I turned around to see his irritated eyes.
