THIRD PERSON's POINT OF VIEW
Seth's eyes fluttered open, the maroon ceiling with expensive-looking lights were the first thing he saw.
From that alone, Seth knows he is somewhere but his apartment. It didn't take long for him to remember what happened yesterday though, it came crashing like waves.
Seth looks at himself and just like what he expected from what happened yesterday, his shirt is raised exposing his n*****s that are still from his... act of relieving himself yesterday. His hands feel sticky and so is his body. He slowly stands up expecting a jolt of pain from his ass but none came.
'Nothing happened?'
Didn't that man who claimed to be his husband take him?
He did not touch him? They didn't have s*x last night?
The thought sent relief all over his body but it was only for a few seconds. That weird man must be planning something else, Seth is sure as hell that when his heat came the man was with him, he can still remember the heat of his hands, the smell of his heavy breathing, and his...
Seth shakes his head to clear off unwanted thoughts lingering in his head. Nope, he can't be thinking of that man in that way, he can't. He shouldn't.
'This must be because of my heat. My mind is fuzzy.' He thought.
Whatever that man is planning for him, Seth is more than willing to stop him. He... he felt his body shivered from the mixture of cold and fear, the thought of what might happen to him within that man's domain scares the s**t out of him that's why even though he feels weak from his recent heat, he made his way to the bathroom and took a short bath to relieve himself of the sticky and disgusting feeling hoping that the memory of that man's touch yesterday could be washed away too.
He wore the same clothes he has yesterday because there is no way in his life that he will wear what ever sort of clothing this room has, that man could have put something on those clothes, a tracker perhaps so if in case he escapes from this place that freedom can be taken away from him by that man any time he wants. The thought alone is enough to send shivers down his spine.
Seth neared the door and lean on it hoping to hear something, anything to prove the someone is not guarding the door.
It usually happens, when someone is kidnapped it's a requirement that two goons are guarding the door in case the kidnapped escapes, if the kidnapped did then that's when the action begins.
In Seth's case, he's not an actor nor the main protagonist of an action film, he is just a scared to his wits omega who wants nothing else but to leave this place no matter how extravagant it is.
He can feel his goosebumps rising because of fear and anticipation but he's not sure of what he is anticipating, is he anticipating that they will catch him and then an action scene between the goons and the male lead will happen?
Seth shakes the thought off.
Once he's sure that no one is outside, he turned the knob, and fortunately, it wasn't locked as he expected. Isn't it a given to lock the door of the room where the kidnapped is?
'These kidnappers lack knowledge on how to properly kidnap someone..'
The thought made Seth shake his head, it's a good thing for him though. He can leave this place smoothly and surely.
He steps out of the room, grinning. As he is about to take another step to the left where his guts are telling him...
"A pleasant morning, master Seth." A soft masculine voice said behind him.
His eyes widen. "Ah!" He jumped away and quickly sprinted to his left.
"This way is the dining, master Seth..."
He vaguely hears him say something but Seth is too busy to run for his life to care. He swiftly turns to his right when he saw that ahead of him is a dead end.
The right direction he turns to happens to be a long alley with a matte black double door at the end of it.
Seth instantly froze.
'No, this isn't the exit.'
It's not the path that leads to the exit but another dead end.
He's ready to turn around when a creaking sounded from the door, slowly, the matte black double door opened and a greek god step out of it in his half-naked glory.
Their eyes met and even though they're meters apart from each other, Seth clearly sees how surprised painted his facial expression, from surprised it turned into happiness.
The self-proclaimed-husband and weird man smiled happily and started to jog his way.
'What the... What's with the sparkling effect?!'
He exclaims subconsciously, the weirdo is shining!
"My wife~" The weirdo sang.
Seth cringes and before the weirdo can get close to him, he sprinted back to the room where he came from, and locked it.
~
Seth looked down and just like when he first did it, his knees shook.
'Where in the world am I?!'
When he thought he is just on the second floor, it seems like he is wrong! He's at least 50 feet away from the ground, almost as if he's on the fifth floor of a building! How is he supposed to jump down from here?
If he jump he will surely die! He's too afraid to make use of the DIY ropes made from fabrics. He's not even sure if it will work!
'Arggh!'
Is this his fate? Will he forever stay in this place?!
No, he shakes his head. He refuses to give up the life he has! It might be boring for others but it's the life he achieved!
Writing books, drawing illustrations, doing a live streaming while wearing a mask for his fans who love his artwork, just staying in bed at home. Staying safe away from the outside, away from alphas, he lived well all this time, he lived away from alphas all this time, why does this have to happen to him? Why does he have to stay in a house where an alpha is?
A knock sounded from the locked door it made Seth jump.
"Wife...? You have to eat, I brought your breakfast, oh sorry, it's actually lunchtime."
Vexing. So vexing how his voice sounded it can fool anyone that he is a nice, charming, and kind man. It must have been so easy for him to get a lover of something like that but he's insisting that he is his wife?
'Wife huh.'
"I'm not hungry!" He yelled sternly.
There is a moment of silence until the man spoke. "But you haven't eaten anything, yet. Last night you also did not anything. You have to eat..." He softly said but loud enough for him to hear him clearly.
Seth hugged himself.
'Scary... His voice is scary!'
Scarily soft and gentle. Something an alpha shouldn't have!
"I said I'm not hungry!" He yelled the same time his stomach growled. It was loud but Seth is sure it's not loud enough for the man to hear it from outside.
"Seth—"
Seth flinches, "DON'T SAY MY NAME!!" He shouted quickly.
'Don't say my name... How can you say my name as if we're lovers!'
Who is this man? Just how many omegas did he f**k that he has mistaken him as someone else? Is it because of his name? Did that man meet someone else named Seth who is also an omega? Maybe that's why?
"... sorry. I'm just worried your stomach will hurt. I know I can't force you to do anything but please, your health, not minding your health is not something I can tolerate." He said sounding dejected. Silence followed then moments later, he spoke again. "I'm coming in."
Seth's eyes widen, "NO, DON'T!" Too late, the knob turned and the soft creaking sound of the door opening followed next.
Seth quickly hid on the corner like a scared cat while keeping his eyes on the man. The man. This man claimed to be his husband but Seth doesn't even know his name. How ironic.
The man glances at his way and smiled softly before he walks to the bedside and placed the golden tray of food there.
'Wow golden tray.'
He can't help but feel amaze even though he's not sure if that's real gold or just paint, either of the two the tray looks beautiful.
"I don't know what cuisine you prefer that's why I ask them to cook something I thought you might like. Roasted chicken and vegetable salad, I also brought water and fresh orange juice but I don't know what dessert you want so I'll ask you now instead. What would you like?"
"Go back home," Seth answered dead serious while staring back at the man's face that's why he clearly saw how his face contorted that of pain before he looked away.
"I... You really want to leave..." The man whispered but he was able to hear him.
"Of course I do. I was taken here against my will! By you, an alpha. Do you expect me to stay here just because the room is nice and the food looks delicious? That's not how easy of a person I am!" Seth barked in annoyance. He isn't someone from a book or manga that would give someone who kidnapped him a chance and choose to stay in that place just because he's treated nicely.
An alpha is an alpha no matter what, they're beasts.
"I know, I'm sorry if it came out that way but let me tell you too that I will not give up on you." The man declared, he turned to him again. "You hate alphas like me, you're scared of them, I won't say I'm different. Chance. All I'm asking you is a chance to prove that I'm telling the truth. That before this, our paths have crossed before."
The sincerity in his voice is overwhelming, he sounded too honest that it almost made Seth drop his guard, almost.
He looks away.
Even if Seth wants to deny it he's really curious as to how this man claims to be his husband, could he be telling the truth? What good will come out if he's deceiving him?
Is this perhaps one of those pranks? A joke?
Nonetheless, whatever it is he'd like to see that extent of pathetic games this man prepared just so he can have fun.
"Fine. I want the proof of our so-called marriage, once I'm satisfied with your proof I'll give you a chance. Three months. That's it." He said.
The man's face lit, his lips formed a wide smile and he started to eagerly walk towards him but Seth raised his hand to stop him.
This weird man, is he expecting a hug or a kiss from him?
"Don't touch me, please see your way out." He ordered as if he owned the room but the man is not bothered by his tone.
"By the way Seth..." He turned to the weird man who is now holding the doorknob. "Sun. My name is Sun." He said and left.
Seth's forehead creases. "Sun..." He mumbled to himself.
Yeah, he's just as hot as his name.
"Tsk, how weird..."
He walks to the bedside table and sat on the bed then started eating while wondering to himself how that man's name sounds so familiar...
