The Ignored Feelings

Chapter 1

Asher's POV:

      "Mr Stones, your grandma is on the line, she wishes to speak with you." my assistant Ray informs me through the intercom. I was confused as why was she calling through the office number?  I told Ray to connect the call. As an obedient assistant he did as I said.

      "Good evening mom.... How are you?" I greeted her. 

        "Do not 'good evening' me young man...Don’t you have even little time for your old lady? I think you will forget me soon...." and she goes on and on. My grandma, Eleanor Lewis, is like my mother after my mom passed away in the car accident when I was a year or two. Since then my grandma (mom's mom) is my mother. My mother was her only child, and at her death she was devastated, but she always tells that I was her will to stay strong and loved me to the fullest. I love her the most. I always wonder where I would be if it wasn't for her and dad....

       I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard her call my name, in fact full name, "ASHER LEN LEWIS STONES.... are you even listening to what I'm saying? Is your work so important than your old lady!?" she screams through the phone, to which I chuckle and reply, “Mom...other than you there is noting more important to me in this whole world, actually you are my whole world."

     "Awww.... My baby surly has a way with his charms.... I had called you ..to your phone but 'Mr. I’m a very busy person' didn't pick, so here I am calling you through your office phone. Anyways, I want you to come home tomorrow and also spend the whole day with me, I also invited your dad he will also be joining us."

     "Humm mm....OK I will try to come before 10 in the morning.... happy..."  I replied.

      " Very much happy...now shoos I have to prepare for my son's arrival...bye take care baby..."

     "Bye mom .... take care.... see you guys tomorrow." and the I hung up the call.

Since tomorrow was Sunday there was nothing scheduled. So, I can spend the whole day with my beloved family. my grandma and my dad.

My dad and I are really close. He is like my best buddy. He has his own company to manage and after his retirement I will be taking his position as owner and CEO. So, I will have two companies to manage. the Two most powerful companies The Stones Inc and The Lewis Inc. Am thinking of merging these both companies into one and then it will always remain the most powerful company...

My dad loved my mom a lot...he blames himself for her death but now its ok .... he tries to move on... he didn't remarry after her death saying he would never be able to love anyone like he loved her. He is my hero. They are my only love ...my grandma, my dad and.....my mom.... 

After that I hung up, I continued my work. After an hour my office door burst open revealing.... my best friend Liam Clark.

Liam and I met in our freshman year on the first day, since then we are inseparable. We have done a lot of things together. He is also like my personal diary and me his. We know each and everything about us. Can't afford to lose him....

   Back to the present, behind Liam Ray came with A worried expression on his face and started to apologize saying, “Sir I tried to stop him, but he just barged in...am really sorry sir...please..."

  I cut him in the middle and assured him," It's ok Ray .... I will deal with this nuisance that I call my best friend. You may leave." 

  "Thank you, sir." saying that Ray left the office.

 " 'Nuisance' !? you broke my heart." Liam started to whine like a kid. to which I chuckled.

  "Why are you here Liam don't you have a company to manage, or should I say earn?" I questioned him.

  "First of all, it's almost 5;30 in the evening so am officially done for today. And secondly don't remind about earning my own company.... Dam only if I could convince my dad that I'm worthy to be the CEO...I wish I had Mjolnir” (spell it’s me-yol-neer. any MCU fan here?)

"First of all, '5;30' is not the answer for my question. Secondly you dam well know even Mjolnir wouldn't accept you" saying that I started to laugh my guts off.

"Hey if you can't help then please don't spoil my hopes...." he says

"So…. Why are you here...instead of trying to prove yourself worthy to your dad with Mjolnir...?” I tease him...again...

"It’s not funny Ash...Anyways I wanted to go to some club" he states.

"You can go, you have my permission...you are a grown man" I state.  

"Hello...I want you to come with me..." he invites.

"No... As you can see am a busy man..."

"Busy to bang also?" he questions me with a smirk pastured to his lips. He got me there. He conceived me to accompany him. Told you he knows me better.

"You dam well know I can never say no to that." I say for which he laughs.

"So, you in?" he asks.

"Hell YES."I reply.

"Then let’s go ...Hurry up" he says in a hurry.

"Wait....Let me pack up," saying that I stop my work and shutdown my laptop and go out.

"Ray I want the mall reports on Monday. Keep it ready. You may go home now." I say to Ray and leave. I heard a 'yes sir and thank you' from him which I ignored and left him behind. 

After reaching the Parking lot Liam and I got into our respective cars and left to the 'LUX'. It’s one of our favourite clubs. We also have VIP passes for that, along with others....

After we were inside the club we sat at our regular seat from where we get a clear view of the bar and the dance floor.

I asked Liam whether he dad's any close to give him the company. The thing is Liam's dad is really strict when it comes to business, wants everything perfect. He is not convinced that Liam is fit enough to handle the business. He thinks he is careless and not serious about things, for which I kind of agree. But even I was careless but yet my grandma found me responsible enough and made me the CEO of Lewis Inc. I agree I wasn't perfect at the beginning but now I have brought the company to the greatest positions and now it is one of the greatest companies in the world. So, I feel his dad should give him the chance...

I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Liam answering," No bro, dad is not ready ...he says am not ready to handle the whole business....I don't understand what to do anymore...I hope he doesn't give the company to Harry..." he states. 

Harry is Liam's cousin...They are pretty much close...Let’s just say Harry is perfect Liam's not.

I just nodded. After sometimes the drinks arrived. We noticed the ladies staring at us...But just ignored them.... for now,...After some time two girls came towards us, they were wearing a skin tight dress which was ended just little below their a*s, cleavage was little covered, not too much makeup, looking at their boobs I was hard, they were gorgeous. After arriving to our table, they started to speak ...But I just wanted to have my release. 

After some time, Liam and I left with each of them. I asked the girl her for place, can't afford them to come to my place in future, she gave me the address...
