Blane POV

I leave the kitchen and that worthless mutt behind to go find Marissa. She is just as pathetic as he is thinking she is going to be my Luna someday. She is just an easy lay who can help me torture that ba**ard. I don't need a Luna, nor do I want one. I find her in the room we currently share. I walk up behind her wrapping my hand around her throat. She likes the s*x a little rough and I am more than happy to oblige. The best part of this f**king is making Parker suffer. I rip her blouse throwing it to the floor. I throw her over my shoulder throwing her down on the bed before I rip her pants off. I don't even give her a moment before I thrust deep inside her. I pound into over and over again. She screams and I grab her by the throat as I f**k her relentlessly. "Oh, Blane you feel so good, f**k me hard." I try to block out her annoying voice. This is why the omegas are better to f**k they don't talk. I have to put up with her for at least a little while until I decide to kill them both. Sorry love I have a lot of pack business to attend to besides I have to go visit our prisoner for his daily beating. She smiles and I leave the room thinking of how I'm going to enjoy when I kill her.

Ivy POV

"Sweetheart you need not be so worried about finding your mate." "You act like you are an old maid, your only twenty-three." I know that mom, but most she-wolf meet them by the time they are nineteen. "You are special you know that so don't compare yourselves to others." "We are still going to crown you Queen this week with or without your mate you know that." I would just like him to be by my side to run the werewolf kingdom. "It will happen in the goddess's time not yours little one." Mom I'm a grown woman who is taller than you do you still have to call me little one? "I am your mother so absolutely." I chuckle when will dad be back today. "He is supposed to return around dinner time, and he has somethings he would like to discuss with you." Mom, I hope it's not about my place in the coven. I know he wants me to take his rank position, but I can't do both especially without my mate. "Your father means well; his blood line has been a ranked member of the Hillside Coven for hundreds of years." "He wants to maintain that." Fine I will listen but that can't happen until I find my mate.

After dinner I'm sitting in my mother and father's office. "Are you excited for your ceremony love?" Yes, dad I am I have been training to be Queen since I was a child. "You know there will be many difficult challenges, but your mother and I have faith in your abilities." I know and I appreciate your support. "The reason I wanted to talk to you tonight is about you becoming a ranked member of the coven when I'm ready to step down." I sit silently which shocks my father. "A member of my family has been a ranked member for hundreds of years." I giggle because my mother knows him so well. "Ivy this is not a joke." I'm not laughing about the coven dad, mom told me you want to speak to me about this using the exact words. He turns to my mother and smiles. I will make a deal with you dad. If you maintain the rank till, I'm mated for a least six months I will take it then. "You haven't even found your mate yet." I know but it's not like you aren't able to continue your duties. "Fine Ivy that is a deal." I get up hugging both my parents. "Before you leave Ivy, I just wanted to remind you that we will be visiting the packs after your formal ceremony."

Parker POV

When the cell door opens, I know immediately who it is. He can't even give me one day without a visit. "Hello Parker, I so look forward to our alone time." Why are you doing this to me? We were friends what could I have done to deserve this. "You think there is some deep reason for why I hate you well your wrong." "I'm an Alpha unlike you I don't need friends or a precious Luna." All this for power there is something wrong with you. As soon as the words leave my mouth, I see the sadistic smile and the cell door opens. With the beatings I've been taking and very little food I'm a shadow of my former self. It doesn't take much for Blane to knock me to the ground. "You know the mate that was supposed to love you and be your other half I just finished with her." I stay silent this time. "How was the pain of me just f**king her?" I would never tell them, but I can hardly feel the pain, it's like the bond is breaking on its own without her accepting it. The Moon Goddess is having mercy on me for that part at least. "You know the best part is I can't even stand the sight of her and when I'm done with you, I'll end her too." I'm sure he can see the shock on my face. He laughs before he kicks me in the ribs. I feel something break as I grab my side. He reaches down grabbing my hair "you are a pathetic excuse for a wolf just like your father was." I wish I had the strength to fight back when he speaks about my father but again, I stay silent. "Don't let him provoke you Parker, if you say nothing, he will get bored quicker." I know Blaze I'm trying. "I know you are please just hold on." This time he punches me and the last thing I remember was praying for death.

Ivy POV

I'm in the dining hall of the palace trying to eat my breakfast. "Well, if it isn't my future bride." Why does this wolf not get the message? Stanley the only future thing I am for you is Queen. "Don't be that way Ivy I'm a strong warrior and will make a great King to our people." I'm really not interested in what kind of king you'll be since only my mate will be king. He smirks "maybe he is dead since you haven't found him then you will have no choice but to take a chosen mate." I stand even if you were the last wolf on the planet, I wouldn't choose you. I start to walk away, and he grabs my arm. I suggest if you want to continue living you release me. "One day you're going to realize that I am the only one who can stand by your side, and I will be here when that happens." I roll my eyes pulling my arm from his hand. As I leave the dining room Jessie is in the hallway. "Your done already I was just coming to join you." All of the sudden I don't have an appetite. He looks past me and must-see Stanley. "A**hat bothering you again about becoming king and your mate." Of course, he is a really slow learner. He laughs "let's go grab food and we can take it up to your room." I nod taking his hand and walking back in together.

I hear a growl and ignore it. Before I know what's happening Stanley has Jessie by the throat. I compel him to put him down and when Jessie is out of his grasp, I take him by the throat. "Kick his a** just for fun Ivy" Lucinda my wolf says. Calm down he will be sorry he did it. If you ever touch my Beta again, I will snap your neck, do you understand me, Stanley? Embarrassed that he is being lifted of the ground by a woman a hundred pounds lighter than him he whispers, "yes Ivy." You may call me your majesty and I didn't hear you. "Yes, your majesty" he says through gritted teeth before I drop him to the floor." We finish getting our food and head out of the dining room. "You know I love to watch you put a**holes like him in their place." I laugh I know you do. "I can't wait to see who the Moon Goddess pairs you with, he going to have his hands full."
