Days passed by like a blur and I’d like to say that my recovery was going well. I was back to being a servant and doing what I was told.
Rose was still the one managing us, but I heard from Skylar that she just had been back from recovery after the king’s punishment, and the same goes for Gwendolyn. I was so shocked when I first heard about that. It just says that Gwendolyn lied. The king didn’t turn on me, but I didn’t apologize to him for accusing him of such a thing. It was for the best, well, that was what I’d been telling myself.
