He took the bedroom next to hers, even though it was beside his brother and Nora and he complained about the noise, he didn’t want to be any farther away from her. Gabe was sweet. He’d play his piano that he had brought in and she would fall asleep to the music. And she was fairly certain he would wait and listen until her breathing evened out. He was predictable.
