"What if we gave your parents a grandson, so they have obligation to give us money for our life" I hear Landon speak mischievously while slowly he open his clothes.
"Don't you dare!!" I shriek in panic and he look angry for the moment he hear my objection.
SHIT!!
"YOU ARE MY WIFE!" He start yelling before grab my hand roughly and push me to my bed then squash me with his big body.
"NO... NOOOOO..!!" I scream when he start tore my clothes.
"Shut up" He slap my face and shut me up when he start touching me before open my legs so he can do what he wants with me.
I whimper in pain when I feel his hard member push inside me roughly and it worse because I am dry when having him inside me.

I scream and jolt from my bed with sweat on my whole body before realize that it just a dream, a really bad dream.
Oh God, I sob when remember the dream I had today.
It one of the worst day I ever had with Landon.
Slowly I get up from my bed and walk to the bathroom, warm water will calm me I thought in shiver thinking about the nightmare.
I remember first time I meet him in France when he’s wear his suit and lost in the city. I never know that all this time or that time, he knows who I am and it all trap. That he planned all of that to make me fall for him.
How can I be so stupid and can’t see it coming?!
I strip my clothes and put my body in the warm water before closed my eyes then take a deep breathe to calm myself.
This is Italy and I'm in my parents mansion, it's impossible he can’t touch me here, noone can touch me and hurt me again while I am here, I thought and feel safe for the first time.

“What do you mean Psychiatrist?”
I shrugged and try to look calm when I speak to Vincent “Just because of my last marriage thing, so I need this session with the doctor” I said lightly after Vincent asked about leaving to his bar and take some drink, I think I’m not capable to face the crowd for now, so I make an excuse.
But I guess meeting a psychiatrist is not what he thought I'm going to do on my free time.
“Riighhtt...” Vincent look confused and suspicious when he hear my lame answer.
Please, let him believe it.
I sighed “Look, how about I meet you there after my session with the doctor?” I suggest with hope that he agreed.
He rolled his eyes because he know that I’m not going to the bar.
“yeah.. yeah.. perhaps next time then” He surrender and not push me anymore about coming to meet his friends on the new bar in the town again.
I smile and kiss his cheek before leaving his apartment.
“Charlotte?”
I stop and turn my head back to where my brother stood.
I gulped when I see his serious face “Please when the time come, tell everything to me” He speak then kissed my cheek before turn around and head to his room.
I was shocked.
Did he know?

“Hey, mom” I greet her when I just arrive in my parents mansion two hour later.
She put the newspaper down when she hear me and I peck her cheek before take a seat beside her.
“How’s the session with dr. Miranda?” She asked with a warm smile.
I take the cup of coffee from the maid before said thanks to her and turn my head back to my mother.
“Well.. It’s good as usual” I said and she nod before put her hand in my knee.
“I just hope, you’re getting better” She speak softly “It’s been 6 months since that happen..”
“What is ‘that’ happen?”
We both shocked and gasp a little when we hear my father voice come from behind us.

“Hey, honey” My mother quickly stand up and give him a peck in his lips before take a seat again in front of me and beside him.
I smile and nod my head to him “Hi, dad”
“It’s good to always see both of my pretty angels face in my mansion” He smile and sound proud when he said that. I smile when I see my father take my mother’s hand and kiss it.
They affection between each other always make me jealous and want to find one for myself, but with the bad experience with Landon, I guess I don’t have the courage to face or date another man for now.
The only man who can touch me now without me flinch or scare only, my father, Vincent, Uncle Sam and uncle Benjamin, because I know they all are good people who won’t hurt me.
“So” I tilt my head a little when I hear my father voice and turn my head to him to pay attention with his next word “Like I said before, What is ‘that’ happen that you two talking about?” s**t, he won’t let it go.
I take a glance to my mother who look calm and take a sip of her coffee before winked her eye to me.
“We are talking about the stupid decision of this princess who run away and getting married, honey” She lied to my father so easily, I guess she used to do this to him, I don't know.
I gulp nervously and hoping that my father will eat it and didn’t question us anymore.
I sigh when I hear he chuckled with a nod.
“Stupid little girl” He replied that make me rolled my eyes but glad that he find it funny.
“She is, isn’t she?”
I gasped “Moomm.. why are you agree with him?!” I whined and make both of them burst out laughing.
Oh God, how I miss talking and laughing like this with my family, how can I am so stupid try to leaving them for a guy that not in love with me?!
“So princess” It’s my mother who speak now “How about your college?” she asked.
Oh yes, I need to think about that too.
I sighed “Oh yeah.. about that.. I made a stupid move about it, mom” I blushed in embarrassment with what I’m going to tell them that I am dropping out from it without telling them.
“No need to worried” My father interject.

“Pardon?” I ask dumbly.
They both smile “You can continue your study next week, we already took care of it” My mother tell the news that make me squeal and jump happily to my parents arms.
Really? They already took care of it?
Is that mean I could continue my study?!
I will go to college again?!
“Thank you.. Thank you... Thank you” I scream while hugging them who laugh and return the embrace.
It was great to know that I can continue my college.
“Don’t do stupid thing again, okay?” my father pointed his finger to me and I nod before kiss his cheek.
“Thanks, daddy” I called him with the nick name that I used to call him when I was little.
“Oh, baby” I gasp when he tightening his hand around my body and hold me back. I saw my mother smile with tears in her eyes.
I’m sorry for hurting you both, I thought in my mind and put my head in my father shoulder and let him hug me.
“What is this? Family gathering and no one invite me?” I hear Vincent voice coming from behind and my father smack Vincent head after he release me. I rolled my eyes when I see my brother only grinned and say sorry to him.
“I thought you said that you have this huge party?” My mother question him who take a seat beside me after he take a drink from the table.
Vincent just shrugged “Naahh... I guess I want to hang out with you guys for a while” He said and I see my father give us the rare smile from his face.
“That’s great then” My father beamed and my mother nod in agreement “We should go out for a family dinner. I’ll told Benji to join us” He added quickly.
This day is getting better and better, I thought happily.

This is the first time since I came back, having a dinner outside with my family with everyone staring at us of just take a glance to us who booked most of the table, since my father didn’t like to have a crowded people when we’re having our special dinner, so we booked half of this place for only 5 person, call it show off but he said it for our safety.
We also have a bodyguard in every door that make my mother scowl and pouted when she notice that, I know my father is over reacted but he always acted like that when it come to me and my mother safety.
Since what happen with me and how a man could hurt me, for the first time I am glad to know that there's so many guards around the place to protect us.
“So, I’ve heard that you dump this Giselle girl?” I hear Uncle Benjamin asked Vincent who just rolled his eyes and got a smack from my father in the head.
“You should not disrespect every girl you’ve date, young man” He warned him and my mother nod her head agreeing him “Woman is not a toy”
“Your father’s right” My mother speak and that make him sigh in defeated.
I can’t stop the laughing when I see Vincent reaction.
“Yesss..” He said lazily that make me and uncle Benjamin laughing hard for see his attitude.
I feel uncle Benjamin eyes on me when I take my red wine and take a sip.
My mother and father already on the dance floor while Vincent went outside to answer the phone call from his new girlfriend.
“Are you alright, princess?”
I turn my head and give Benjamin my warm smile before answering his question.
“I am now, uncle Ben”
He nod “Good” and take my hand “May I take this opportunity to dance with the prettiest girl in here?” I laugh and shook my head but get up from my seat and we follow my parents, dancing.
I put my head in his warm chest, he’s like my second father for me.
“You know, I should have said thank for not telling my father” I start the conversation and I can feel his body tense when I mention it.
“He’ll kill me when he know I hid something important like that” He respond coldly.
I nod “I agreed, that’s why we should keep it like this” I told him who just sighed.
“Are you still in love with the prick?”
I didn’t answer his question for a moment.
Am I ever in love with him?
Sighed, I shook my head “Honestly, I don’t know if I ever in love with him” I told him the truth “I just want to have someone who like my father and my mother and were so in love”
I see him nodded “Not everyone have the same love story, princess” He state and I realize it now, he's right.
“I know that now” I said and make him chuckled before I feel someone tap my shoulder.
“May I?” my father smile to us.
I smile when uncle Benjamin let my hand go and back to the table while I saw my mother already dance with Vincent in the dance floor. This is the first time, I’m going to dance with the mighty Aiden Brancaccio, my father.
“Hey, baby girl” He turn me around before hug me and we start dancing.
I laugh when I start dance with him and see he still has a great move, even he’s not young anymore. Vincent and my mother looking at us and they look amuse with what we’re doing.
I know everyone is doing the same and stare on us but I care less to them.
Until I saw the man who seat in the corner with a pretty woman infront of him. The man who lock his eyes on me.
And I feel my heart jump for a second when I realize who is it.
