Chapter 7Thandi wanted to go to Joanne’s house, where she planned on beginning her informal investigation, but another Uber ride opportunity appeared on her phone. The pick-up was at the Hatfield Gautrain station. It was a risky place to collect passengers, but money did not grow on trees these days, she reminded herself. She selected the job and made her way to the station. As she approached she saw a couple of metered taxis parked near the entrance. She tapped out a message on her phone to the customer.
