Geo and Kulos see the pit. They are thrown inside the room by the Gaoler. Their chains are cut open. There are 17 other slaves. A noble man throws 10 small knives at them. All of them scatter and beat each other to take the knives. Geo finds one .When one of the men tries to attack him, he dodges and cuts his throat in no time.
"Stop" says the nobleman.
"He is a fighter. Take him to the open pit. Give him a proper blade.... and a shield . He might make me some money" says The noble.
"Take him too. I only can fight with him" says Geo.
"Ok give the skinny man a knife then" adds the noble.
They are taken to the open pit. There are men with swords, spikes, spears, shields. Geo is given a sword while Kulos is given a shield.
