Chapter Thirteen The shuttle wasn’t due to leave until mid-morning, but Tina was glad that she got up early, in the pale light of the morning while it was still cool. Getting to the shuttle was a hassle, and that was an understatement. The bus that took them from the terminal did not have enough room for Rex’s armour, so the only way to make their flight, for which Tina had paid dearly, was to take the armour off, and take Rex separately onto the bus.
