The glass sphere shattered on impact, scattering the sapphire dust all around. As soon as the Forsaken came into contact with the special powder, their wings became heavy and they dropped down to the floor. David wasted no time and pumped them full of silver slugs. He walked fearlessly down the corridor, blasting his way through the demons. Unable to fly, the demons had no way to escape.
When he ran out of shells, Vanessa popped out from behind the wall and joined the fray. David switched to his Beretta and together the two of them shot down every last demon which stood in their way. The smell of gunpowder wafted in the air, leaving behind a lingering scent of burning metal as the hunters obliterated the Forsaken swarm.
