Armed with silver sabers, Vanessa and her shadow clone rushed at David, who was still too weak to fight. They were immediately intercepted by the Deidra twins, who stood blocking their path. The twins attacked in tandem, pushing Vanessa and her clone back with a flurry of dagger attacks. In a battle of pure physical prowess, the twins clearly had the upper hand. Their attacks were perfectly coordinated and they were faster than any monster Vanessa had ever faced. As the flaming daggers kept clashing with the silver sabers, the silver blades turned red hot. The extreme heat generated by the dagger strikes, melted the metal swords in just a few hits. Vanessa quickly realized that it was futile to fight them with weapons.
