Absorbing every last bit of magic from the Lunar Amulet, Vanessa awakened her lunar energy. Spreading her arms wide apart she closed her eyes and began chanting an ancient incantation.
"By the power of Hecate,
I call upon the light.
Let the clouds wilt away
Like withering flowers.
Let the sky part its eyelids
And gaze upon the darkened earth.
I call upon the harbingers of light
To awaken the mighty sun from his eternal sleep!"
The spell drained Vanessa of all her strength and she started bleeding from her nose. Still she kept going. The demonic energy was too powerful, but Vanessa gave it her all and eventually broke through the dark barrier. Her spell cleared away the dark clouds blocking the sunlight and soon the sky changed back to its original hues.
