BECKA SLEPT FOR ABOUT an hour and a half and woke up refreshed and ready to attack the world again. She became aware that she was still in Bryan’s arms, and she turned her head to look up at him. He was already awake and met her eyes squarely.
The change in Becka’s breathing had woken him up, and he had been waiting to see what she wanted to do. He also remembered what had happened on the yacht earlier, and he didn’t want a repeat of the stupid quarrel they had.
All their bickerings seemed unsubstantial, and most of the time, they were the result of misunderstandings. Bryan found them to be a waste of time, and he had proposed to himself to avoid any quarrel if possible.
