This is my first time writing a novel , I'm sorry if there is any inconvenience and mistake.... Prologue ☘️ Edward Williams is a Nigerian guy with a brown skin that drives girls crazy.He is from a rich family but very kind and down to earth. He's a complete definition of being Handsome cause he's being wanted by all the girls in Elite Secondary School even his Seniors. He's in Ss2 and also very intelligent and confident in himself. Even though girls flock around him,he never spared any of them a glance because he's not the type that chases anything in skirt unlike his best friend Charles..... ☘️Meet Charles Kolajo.A Yoruba boy with outstanding features and crazy vibes. He's the best buddy of Edward . Brown skinned with dimples that drives girls crazy anytime he smiles. He's a complete flirt ,a playboy and also from a rich family. He's in the same class with Edward. ☘️ Melody Ihedioha is a light skinned girl.Her family is neither rich nor poor . She's a complete definition of being cute and Stubborn.She always feels bad whenever people make mockery of the fact that she's not tall.Her Family had to relocate from Abuja to Enugu because her dad is working on a project and he didn't want to leave his family behind.She attends Elite Secondary School Enugu .What will happen in the school?.Will the students of Elite Secondary School accept her wholeheartedly or will she be rejected?.Find out as you read this interesting novel ☘️Chapter one ☘️ **Melody's Pov** ''Hey, didn't your parents or your form teacher teach you how to take permission before entering your seniors classroom" A girl asked as I stepped into my class Ss2 A Science.I don't blame her sha cause it's not her fault that I'm short. No matter what she doesn't have the right to say such.. "And did your own parents also forgot to teach you some manners"I questioned back and now the whole class are staring at us waiting for Drama. "What!! So you have the audacity to insult your senior this little brat "The girl fumed but I cared less . I ignored her ranting and scanned the classroom searching for an empty locker .I found one beside a window and went to settle down. "She even got the nerves to sit in this class and you guys are just moping like fools"The girl continued with her ranting. "You are the fool not us,I don't know why you always work very hard to exhibit your nonsense Everytime. Better watch your tongue and your words when making a sentence cause I'm not going to curb your nonsense in this class.Mtcheww "Another girl said to her . "Eh! Auntie good girl, i***t,Werey .I don't have your time today sha .I can see that you are looking for who you will fight with but tell your village people that I am not available at the moment"The first girl said. "Guys, it's okay nah . it's too early for this quarrel and Kate it was very rude of you to call us fools" A guy said this time around. "Mtchewww...Like i ....."Kate paused as a teacher entered the class. "Good morning mrs Andy"The class chorused. "Good morning class".She replied and inscribed Physics on the class board. "Oh,we have a new student in our midst..Please introduce yourself to the class young lady"The teacher said to me after noticing my presence. "Hello class,I'm Melody Ihedioha and I hope I enjoy my stay in this school".I said to the class confidently. "Enjoying this school is not meant for Short people like you ".The Kate girl said to me making me angry.I hate the fact that people keep on reminding me of the fact that I'm short.Like,am I the one that created myself. "And the opinion of a person with baboon face like you isn't needed"I fired back at her making the class to laugh. "That's enough class,Kate try to be nice sometimes and Melody you're welcome to Elite High school"The teacher said and started her teaching. Three more lessons took place with me introducing myself to the class and all that before the Timekeeper rang the bell for break time. "Edward talk to me nah"Kate whined as she followed a guy out of the class making the girls in the class to laugh at her. "Omoh,There's nothing my eyes cannot see in this school especially this class.A girl sitting in front of me said making the class girls and some boys to laugh again. "Aswear guy ,Imagine chasing a boy who doesn't even care about your existence...Sha love is blind"Another girl added. "Love ala ,Mad love."The first girl said. "The same love that made most of our class girls to disgrace their selves because of him''A guy said between laughter. "Only if God made me more handsome with a cute face I'd just use all these girls and catch cruise like Charles is doing"Another guy added making the girls to glare at him. "Charles dumped senior niniola yesterday.That guy has mind oo "The girl in front of me said and most girls laughed. "See the way they're shinning their teeth because he served senior niniola breakfast like he did to them.A guy said and the girls that laughed frowned together in a funny way making me to laugh thereby gaining their attention. "Hi Melody,I'm Adaeze".The girl in front of me introduced. "I'm Sandra"Another introduced "Jeremy" "Amaka" "Richard" "Emerald"They introduced making me surprised because I've never had this kind of conversation with my classmates in my former school. Maybe it's because they like making mockery of my shortness.. Maybe it's because I've never initiated a conversation with them because I don't want them to insult the fact that I'm not tall or average like them. Maybe it's because of the fact that I don't fashi their mockery and accept myself the way I am than wanting more ...JUST MAYBE. "Melody!!!"Adaeze shouted making me come back from my thoughts. "What are you thinking"She asked me . "I'm just surprised because of the fact that you guys are talking to me"I explained. "Surprised?..Why?..Are you not a human being or are we meant to ignore you?". "No ,not that .In my former school in Abuja ,the students especially my classmates don't talk to me and I don't talk to them because of the fact that I'm short and they like making mockery of me for being short.Even the Junior students."I explained. "My dear fashi them because they're mad.shortness is not a disease sef.We have 20 minutes remaining before break time ends ,lets go and eat in the cafeteria...Bills on me"Richard said and started dragging us out of the classroom. I won't lie I'm very happy right now.At least I have people I can talk to in School than being a loner and a deaf and dumb human like I was in my former school.I Guess my first day in this school isn't that bad.Smiles... ?Edward's Pov? I sat down in the cafeteria with my buddy Charles talking about random things but the chatterbox beside us wouldn't let us be.I sighed for the umpteenth time while Charles kept on laughing because of my reaction. I'm Edward Williams,Currently 17 in Ss2 and I don't mean to brag but I'm very cute and girls love me but I don't love them..... I smirked when I saw niniola approaching our table. "Dude,what's up with the smirk?"He asked but niniola already approached our table. "Charles,can I have a word with you in private"She asked in a pleading tone. "Not now niniola ,I already made things clear that it's over between us.I'm no longer interested in you"Charles said and sipped his drink in a funny way that made me and Kate laugh. "Are you laughing at me"Niniola asked Kate thereby drawing attention from the students in the cafeteria. "Isn't it obvious"Kate replied her . "I can see that you don't know your senior again right,you need my help to remind you of that fact right?"Niniola asked Kate while Charles and I watched without interfering in their girls fight. "My Senior wouldn't be chasing after a Junior student"Kate said and chuckled at the same time. "Well,by the look of things...I can see that you're also chasing after Edward who is ignoring your existence"Niniola said with a smirk. "At least he's my classmate.I'm better than you because I wouldn't stoop so low to go after a junior student"Kate fired back and niniola landed a heavy slap on her face earning a gasp from the students in the cafeteria. "This is not the end "Kate said and stormed out of the cafeteria. "Yes,it's only Genesis,Exodus is next"Niniola shouted so kate could hear her before sitting on our table. "You're not welcome here"I said to her "Oh please"She said in a flirting way. Just then ,the new student in my class entered the cafeteria with Jeremy,Richard,Emerald and the rest.They made their way to our bench and sat down. "Hey buddies"Said Richard. "Wow!"Charles exclaimed. "What?"I asked him "She's cute"He said referring to the new girl who just sat down. "I'm melody"She introduced. "And I'm Charles,this is my buddy Edward and this is niniola my Ex "Charles introduced without any shame . "Who is your ex..Dey play, This relationship is till death do us apart whether you like it or not "Niniola said making me chuckle thereby earning a glare from Charles. "I concur "Richard said between laughter. "That's none of business,I'm tired means I'm tired,you can't force me to date you"Charles said and smiled at melody who gave him the bombastic side eye. "Melody,tell us more about yourself"Amaka said to Melody. "OK .I was born and brought up in Abuja but had to relocate to Enugu because my dad is working on a project"Melody said. "So your friends,Classmates and Boyfriend are in Abuja"Charles asked. "Actually my classmates are in Abuja, I don't have friends and a boyfriend"Melody replied. "So you don't have a boyfriend.Wow ,that means I stand a chance"Charles said sheepishly. "Charles abeg if you're doing that your stand a chance don't near melody.Go and find another person because she's not available"Emerald said while Charles laughed. I stole a glance at melody as she's digging on her ice cream and I have to admit the fact that she's cute and the birthmark on her face is just like that of the famous Nigerian Actor Zubby Michael and it added to her Beauty.She's cute but I'm not interested. "So... friends "Charles said bringing out his hand for a handshake but Senior Stanley took it instead and sat down earning a glare from Charles. "What's up people...Nini what are you doing here ,don't tell me it's what my mind is telling me"Senior Stanley said. " Your mind should tell you anything that it likes, na you sabi "Niniola replied, adjusted her skirt and walked out. "Wow ,fine girl how far "Senior Stanley asked Melody. " I'm good "She replied. " I'm Stanley, From Ss3 and the senior prefect of this school and I'm guessing you're new here because I haven't seen you before " He said " Yeah ,I'm Melody and I'm from Ss2 . Nice to meet you senior Stanley ". "The pleasure is mine" Senior Stanley said and brought out his hand for a handshake but Charles received it before Melody could . " 1-1 " Charles said making us laugh. The beg rang for break over so we went back to our class to continue with our lessons while I kept stealing glances at melody. She's literally the first girl that haven't tripped because of my Handsomeness and I'm quite impressed because on a normal , other girls would have start following me around to gain my attention .And to top it all she answered most of the questions that were thrown by the teachers which impressed me because she haven't resume the day those topics were taught. ? Melody's pov ? I lay down on my bed and smiled at my ceiling because of the fact that my classmates didn't make mockery of me being short.Well Kate did but I've forgiven her . I think I'm going to Enjoy my stay in Elite because the people there are actually nice ,kind ,and funny " And I even made friends on my first day " I said to myself and Screamed out loud. "Melody!!!Are you okay" My mom asked me from the sitting room. " Oh no"...............
