We walked into the house and started the tour, just me and James now. I think James might have told them to give us some time over mindlink. Downstairs were the common areas like kitchen, library and living room. The second floor is where his office was along with a conference room and what was gonna be my office. As Luna you get an office but Serine never wanted one and I get the appeal of not being tied to a desk but with my double pack duties I really needed one. It was looking more like storage but it was being emptied tomorrow for me to set it up the way want it to. Serine had moved down to the second floor after Clark’s death, James father.
The top floor was the resident floor. Lauren and John lived down the road and Lucas lived in the pool house with Hannah. So on the left side of the house had Amy’s room and two guest rooms that had belonged to Lucas and Hannah before they moved to the pool house for some ‘alone’ space apparently. And on the right it was the big suite. Our room. James opened the doors for me and I could believe my eyes. It was light and huge! The enormous windows did what they were supposed to do. There was a huge bed to the left and on the right was a big bathroom and walk-in closet with a makeup station. This was beyond what I could wish for.
“Do you approve?”
“Approve? This is the dream!” I jumped in his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. “You are the dream” I whispered in his ear and I sense how he was filled with the same lust as he had felt in the car earlier.
He stepped back a few steps so he could close the door, not wanting anything to disturb us this time. With one hand supporting my weight and the other in my hair holding my face close to his to keep us as close together as possible before placing me down on his bed and he hovered over me. My bed.. Our bed. I smiled at the thought. His lips moved from my lips to my neck as he kissed my mark that was almost all healed now. It sent tingles through my entire body. He got up and pulled me with him. He slowly pulled my dress up, so slowly that I think he was doing it just to tease the hell out of me. The touch of his finger all over my body turned me on so bad that I could feel my underwear being damp all over again. This mate if mine really knew how to turn me on in all the right ways. Once my dress was off I didn’t give it a second thought about getting his pants off and his shirt open once again. I needed to feel him inside of me right f*****g now. I was still in an arousal from earlier and I could wait any longer.
And just my luck at that exact moment the doors burst open and this girl with crazy long blonde hair and the same piercing eyes as James entered the room without a second thought about what was going on in here. It was Hannah, the last sibling.
“James!! I heard you got back today. Just don’t make me have to act nice to your mate, I don’t feel like faking i..” she stopped in her tracks as she finally looked up from her phone to look at us.
“Out! Hannah!!!” He yelled in his Alpha tone. If she hadn’t just walk in on us and totally ruined the mode that would have turned me on even more, if that was even possible.
“Oh my god! Lock the door i***t!” She covered her eyes and walk out and closed the door. I could hear her words from the other side off the door and she knew it. “Desperate slut he got as a mate.”
James’s eyes met mine filled with anger and an apologetic look as well.
“So that was Hannah I take it?” I smiled awkwardly, James not seeing the fun part of the whole ordeal. “it’s okay James. She needs time, I get it.”
“It isn’t Zara. No one talks to you like that without consequence.”
“Maybe me being here and having to accept it is consequence enough? It not like I’m going anywhere.”
“Have I told you that you are amazing?”
“Maybe once or twice”
“Well you are. And if you excuse me I’m just gonna go and tell her to learn how to knock and at least try to be friendly.” I gave him a sweet smile as he kissed me and walk towards the door with his shirt still open.
I put my dress back on and fixed my hair for a second time and looked in the mirror to make sure I was presentable before going after James down the stairs. When I reached the second floor I heard voices from James’s office. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop but I couldn’t help it.
“Why did you do that Hannah? You really messed up.” It was James.
“Oh please Jamie!! She had been here what five minutes and got you naked in what two? How do you even know she will stay or is a good person? You’ve known her for like a day!” Hannah’s voice finally spoke.
“Seriously shut up Hannah! This is my life and Zara is my mate. I know it’s an adjustment for all of us but I really like her and she’s not like Chloé. There no walking all over this girl and if you put your childish behavior aside you would really like her too.” Who was Chloé? The old girlfriend he had mentioned?
“I will be civil, that’s the best I can do.” Hannah said.
“and you apologize to her.” James, his words weren’t said as a question.
“What? Why?” She was a strong individual.
“Because I told you to” I heard her mutter ‘okay’ and I decided that that was my cue to enter the room.
“Sorry about earlier, I wouldn’t wanna see any of my brothers in that moment either. I’m Zara.”
“Thanks..?” She said questioning like I was trying too hard for her to like me. “I’m sorry too. And it’s Hannah.”
We shook hand and then she excused herself from the room and left us alone once again.
“So that went pretty well, right?” I laughed and he shortly joined in.
“If you think that was good then Jake and Marcus’s reactions were perfect and filled with love and not shock at first” we both laughed even more at this.
“At least things can’t get worse or something?” He looked at me like he was trying to figure out who I was. “I’m trying to be positive and look at it as the glas is half full or what the saying is.”
“You are amazing.”
“Said that already. Mate.” He just smiled at me in response.
There was a small knock on the door before a man about James’s age appeared.
“Perfect timing Andrew! This is Zara my mate. Zara this is Andrew, he’s my Gamma and you personal guard. If you’re going out of the house, to the city or anywhere he’s going with you.”
“Really? A bodyguard James? You know as an Alpha's daughter I’m well trained to take care of myself.”
“Just a safety thing for the time being.”
”It nice to meet you Luna.” He was the first one to call me that. I was technically their Luna after James marked me, it took me by shook to hear it for the first time.
“Since you’ll be stuck with me call me Zara or Z please.”
”Sure thing, Zara.” He gave a small nod to James before leaving the room.
“Andrew and I grew up together and I trust him with my life which means I trust him with you. He will help you figure out the lay of the land and maybe you could help him with his ‘girlfriend’ issue..” I gave him a questioning look. “Andrew and Hannah have been on and off for years and it affects his work. Maybe you could give him a female point of view?”
“Do you really think it’s a good idea to have me meddle with her relationships when she has problems with me as it is?”
“You don’t have to I just thought you could use your wisdom or something.”
“I’ll see what I can do.” I really couldn’t say no to him, this damn Mate-bond had some special power over me.
