Princess Ashrina:-
One moment we both were lost in each another's eyes and the next moment we were kissing each other passionately out tongues were intertwined and dancing in rhythm enjoying the passion and taste. I felt my back on the bed and Alexander on top of me ravishing my mouth.
"Uh hmmm, Sister, I hope I am not interrupting something" came my brother's voice from the window of my room. We broke apart from the kiss and sat down looking at Asher who was grinning ear to ear folding his arm over his chest.
"Asher, what are you doing here an were you stalking me?" I asked arranging my clothes that somehow rode up.
"You know sister, my mate happens to be a hybrid she's a witch and a vampire and your mate here is protected under a spell which happens to cover his hunter scent, the vampires can't sense his smell currently but a hybrid can. She told me about sensing a hunter's presence in the castle. I put two and two together and figured out the only hunter who will dare to enter the castle alone could be your mate only who wants to meet you" she replied looking at me then turned his gaze to Alexander with his vampire speed he ran over him and pinned him by the wall holding him by his throat.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE AND HOW DARE YOU TOUCH MY SISTER?" He yelled.
"Brother, leave him he was here to celebrate my birthday and he meant me no harm" I spoke pushing him away from Alexander who coughed holding his throat.
"She is my beloved, why the hell will I hurt her?" Alex asked.
"Maybe, because she killed your dearest uncle" Asher spat.
"I really don't care, whether she killed my uncle or what I just know she is my beloved and I would never dare to hurt her" Alex spoke and continued "and by the way never hold me by the throat again I spared you because you are the brother of Ashrina next time I will not hesitate to rip your heart out of your body" he warned Asher.
"GET OUT" I yelled at Alex "How dare you to talk to my brother like that? I will forgive you this time but next time I will not tolerate you threatening my brother or my family, whether you are my mate or what" I said.
"I am sorry, Bambi. I didn't mean that way" Alex spoke.
"Just go" I said turning my back to him.
"Okay fine, I will go for now but know one thing I really came here for you and celebrate your birthday as well as to inform you that my father wants to avenge his brother's death by killing you Bambi, and trust me I will never let that happen. I will keep you safe even if I have to leave my father for that' he told and disappeared from my room through a magic portal.
My brother came over to me and embrace me in a hug.
"Sister, don't worry your brother won't let anyone hurt his sister I will find that bastard and kill him before he reaches you and as for Alexander I still don't trust him because he is a hunter" Asher spoke I nodded my head and spoke looking at him.
"Asher, go back to your room I just want to be alone now we will talk in the morning and as for Alexander I know it's complicated" he nodded and kissed my cheek.
"Okay, goodnight but we sure are gonna talk in the morning with Charlotte and our parents present as the matter is serious," he said and walked out of the room. I started to walk back to my bed when my gaze went to the cake that was on the bed I smiled looking at it and rubbed my lips with my thumb remembering our kiss.
"What are you doing to me my Alexander?" I murmured and took a piece of cake I devoured the flavor of cake it was so delicious I haven't tasted a cake like this in my life.
" I see you are enjoying alone" came my mother's voice from the doorway.
"Mom," I exclaimed looking at her "What are you doing here?" I asked panicked, she just smiled and entered my room.
"Sorry, Rina. I knocked the door twice when you didn't answer it I decided to get in unannounced" she replied and sat beside me on the bed.
"Sorry, mom. I didn't hear it" I said.
"It's okay now tell me what's bothering you and how is he?" she asked raising my chin with a smile.
"W..W...Who are you talking about mom?" I asked stammering not looking in her eyes.
"You know who I am talking bout my baby girl. I am talking about the one who brought you this cake and your brother interrupted your kiss" she replied.
"How do you know that?" I asked her shock.
"I saw your brother coming inside your room through a window, therefore, I decided to eavesdrop on you guys and I am glad that I did" my mother replied chuckling I just lowered my eyes in shame.
"Hey, don't be ashamed it's not your fault you are destined to be with a hunter and don't be upset if you are destined to be with him you will be with him no matter what," she tells.
"Mom, but he is our enemy and if we mate don't you know it will cause a war between vampires and hunter just because of me" I spoke with tears in my eyes, mom wiped my tears off and spoke.
"Have you got feelings for him?" she asked.
"I don't know mom, maybe I have because when I saw him twice my heart skipped a beat," I tell her.
"I know that feeling my Rina. It happened with me also when I met your father for the first time" she tells kissing my cheek.
"But mom I killed his uncle and his father is after me for revenge," I tell her.
"I heard that and I promise you no one will be able to touch my daughter when her parents are with her and they will be at your every step of the life" she spoke and kissed my forehead she laid my head on her lap "Sleep my daughter on your mother's lap I know you feel comforted on it whenever you are upset or can't sleep".
"I love you, mom" I spoke.
"I love you too Princess Ashrina," she said back stroking my hair, I felt relieved and slept peacefully on my mother's lap.
