The party was in full swing everyone was enjoying, Charlotte was having fun with her friends while Asher's whole attention was on Eleanor our cousin.
"Asher, why are you staring at Eleanor like you have seen her first time?" I asked.
"Because sister, Eleanor is my mate I can feel the mate bond, I am just confused about how to tell her," he said.
"Simple go and tell her that you both are mates you are lucky, you are the first one in three of us who found your mate first," I said smiling and patting his shoulder.
"It's not simple Ashrina, she is our cousin," he said.
" Yes, our cousin not yours anymore because she is your mate so go and get her baby brother," I said pushing him away he laughed and went to Eleanor. Mom and Dad came behind me.
"So, what was that all about Rina?" my mother asked raising her eyebrow.
"Nothing mom, it's just that our baby brother who was born in last find the mate first." my mom's eyes widened and she smiled.
"And let me guess, his mate is Eleanor Petriokias," my father said looking at the direction of Eleanor and Asher while drinking his champagne.
"Yes dad, I am so happy for him, he found the best girl as his mate. He is goddamn lucky to have Eleanor as his mate." I said, Charlotte came running to us and spoke.
"What am I hearing mom and dad, Asher mate is Eleanor?" she asked excitedly.
"Yes Char, you heard right" my mom replied.
"I am so happy for him, wish I found my mate today just like Asher" Charlotte spoke, suddenly we heard a deep voice behind of us.
"MATE" a handsome man was standing behind Charlotte and I whose eyes were fixed on my sister, my dad just smirked and raised her glass in the air "Two down one more to go" my father spoke.
"Who are you?" Char asked the man.
"I am your mate, my name is Zachary Stone and I am the Demon King of demons" he replied, Charlotte's eyes widened she turned to dad and asked.
"Dad, am I hearing right? Am I really mated to a demon king?" my dad just chuckled and replied.
"Yes princess, you sure are mated to a demon king and for your information, he is my friend" she just rolled her eyes and walked away and Zachary followed her mumbling something in his breath. We just laughed and father spoke.
"She is handful, Zach is gonna need much more strength to convince her" dad chuckled shaking his head while mom said "But, I know he will convince her our Charlotte is like that for everything since her childhood, stubborn just like his father" my father pulled mother to him and said "Or should I say stubborn like her mother, cherry" my father bent down and kissed my mother they pulled back and said.
"Princess, don't be upset you will also found your mate today like your siblings" my father said. I gave a weak smile and replied " I hope so,dad" Asher came to us with Eleanor in his hands.
"Dad, is it true that dearest sister Charlotte is mated to Zachary Stone the demon king?" he asked.
"She sure is son, and by the way congratulations for finding your mate" my dad replied eyeing Eleanor and him he chuckled and said "Thanks, dad".
The cake came and was set on the center table we Asher and I move forward towards the cake and waited for Charlotte she came mumbling something in her mouth which we were unable to catch. When she came towards us she spoke.
"I am so gonna kill him with my own f*****g bare hands" Asher and I just chuckled because we are familiar with her this faces and currently its the face when someone denies or pisses her off.
"Kill who?" Asher asked.
"That f*****g demon king, Zachary Stone" she replied.
"And please care to enlighten us that why are you gonna kill your mate?" I asked grinning.
"Because he f*****g kissed me without my permission" she replied.
"But you loved it" came the voice of Zachary who was standing just next to our father.
"YOU" Char pointed her finger to him "Didn't I ask you to leave me alone?" she asked.
"Yes, you did sugar but I can't do that" he replied shrugging his shoulder.
"Ugghhh, let's cut this f*****g cake and get over it so that this party finishes and that annoying man goes back," she said taking the knife in her hand we all burst out laughing. She signaled both Asher and me to hold the knife with her. We hold it together and cut the cake.
"Happy Birthday to you" everyone sings the song. We siblings cut a piece of cake and make one and others eat with our hands then to our parents. The servants came and served the cake to everyone present in the party after piecing them. Suddenly, uncle Marc came running to our father and spoke.
"The palace is under attack by the vampire hunters they have killed our guards" my father ordered everyone.
"Everyone charge we have got some hunters to kill" they all nodded and get ready to fight including the women while the kids were sent into the safety room.
