Ten I wake up with my back on something soft and my legs on something prickly. My head doesn’t feel weird and woozy anymore, but the rest of my body still aches. I blink a few times and the moon comes into focus behind a silhouette of tree branches. “Damn, I was hoping you’d stay knocked out a little longer,” Ryn says from somewhere beside me. I push myself up, wincing at the pain in my hands. “And why is that?
