Sierra’s POV I stood there, frozen by her words. The gravity of her warning weighed heavily on me, and for the first time, I felt the full force of what I had gotten myself into by stepping into this strange world. “I can’t promise that everything will be easy,” she continued, her voice soft but insistent. “But I can promise you this: you’re not alone. We’re all connected. And soon, you’ll see the truth for what it is.” I wanted to ask her more, to press her for answers, but I knew she wouldn’t give me everything now. Not yet.
