Sierra’s POV Back in my room, I felt a strange mix of relief and sadness. The decision to leave wasn’t easy, but it felt like the only way to regain some peace. I opened my closet and pulled out a suitcase, starting to pack the essentials. Each item I placed in the bag felt like a piece of myself being peeled away from this house. There was a soft knock on my door, and before I could respond, Bella peeked her head inside. “Hey,” she said cautiously. Then her eyes fell on the open suitcase, and her face hardened. “You’re really leaving?” I nodded, folding a sweater and placing it on top of the pile in my bag. “Mrs. Lawrence is arranging for a hotel.
