[Rock] “There you are!” Echo said from upstairs. “Sorry, he likes to be tall and climbs up on people.” She came down the stairs with a smile on her face. I always forgot about how small she was. She and her sister were a few inches shorter than Carmen. One of the things I liked about Echo was her fae eyes. They made me feel more comfortable around her.
