"Queen Teres!" Gavreel Senior held the hand of the queen. "Hello, Gavreel!" Her husky voice greeted him melodiously. She was light as a feather when she flew out of the painting. Her eyes sparkled like sea reflecting the sky above. "You're as lovely as ever, Queen Teres!" Gavreel Senior kissed her fingers gently. "King Triton, I'm honored to have both of you in my home!" he declared formally. He shook hands with the king. "We are grateful for your hospitality, Gavreel!" King Triton's deep voice rumbled like low thunder. His slate blue eyes looked directly at Gavreel Senior seriously. "It's been awhile. How are you?" he asked awkwardly when a heavy silence shrouded them. He admired their royal garments absently. The king and queen looked at each with a glum expression on their faces.
