Though they were mere words, words he might have said a thousand times, words I had heard a thousand times. They still sounded different, they touched a part of my heart that wanted to forget that he had wronged me. I wanted to forget and run to him with those mere words, they made me forget that I was angry with how confusing he was. Those words made me want to forget everything and just melt at his mere presence but I was Allison. I was not going to do that even in the least, there was no way I would give in easily.
I ignored those statements and got up from the couch, I needed a bath and maybe some good sleep and I planned on doing both.
